“ A true gem! We called in for dinner. The Fox Inn is a lovely traditional setting The food was excellent, as was the friendly service. We come to this part of the county several times a year and will look to stay in their rooms as well as dining here on our next visit Highly recommended! ”

“ Superb food in a very traditional pub, lots of locals so can get quite noisy as after work drinkers stop for a quick one or two. Quietens down as the serious foodies tuck in to a freshly cooked meal from a varied menu. We are not locals so as we were staying nearby we went twice in the same week. Highly recommend but make sure you book as it is a small venue. We will be going again just wish it was nearer. RAY ”

“ Easily the loveliest and most friendly place we have stayed whilst being in the UK. The lovely Owner Johnny and his wife. Donna are very kind people and lovely to have a conversation with in a couple of beers. All the local people who come and go we are just very welcoming. Especially Max, he’s a real character. The meals were just absolutely outstanding, breakfast was just what we needed and the rooms are very comfortable very clean and very quiet. funny so the front was just a little bit there what a lovely house Rogers ”
“ Booked lunch for four on mother's day. Choice of set menus but something to suit most people. Staff were friendly and helpful despite being fully booked and very busy. The food was absolutely first rate. I had possibly the best pork I have ever tasted and the beef too was delicious. Veg was excellent and the portions of everything were decent.
